The ascent of the rivers
Departure from Francavilla for a technical and refreshing start. We will go up the river valleys of Zaviani and San Paolo, a succession of fords, pebbles and guided passages that will take us to the heart of the territory of the three villages: Malfitano, Pietrapizzuta and Morfia. Here rural Sicily shows itself in all its authentic beauty

we will reach the "plateau ofArgimusco ", the Sicilian Stonehenge. We will ride among stone giants with anthropomorphic shapes with a breathtaking view that ranges fromEtna to the Aeolian Islands.

Montalbano and medieval elegance
The tour then touches Montalbano Elicona, elected among the most beautiful villages in Italy and dominated by its Swabian-Aragonese castle. From here, we will go towards the high altitudes of Floresta, the highest municipality in Sicily (1275 m), where theAir gets fine and the paths open on endless grasslands.
On this tour the lunch is sacred: we will stop to taste the famous Nebrodi black pig salami and cheeses dFloresta mountain pasture, the real charge to face thelast part of theitinerary.
