Departure from Francavilla di Sicilia aiming immediately towards the bed of the Alcantara river. we will drive between basaltic rocks and natural waterfalls, starting aEpic ascent towards the Great Mountain.
History under the wheels: we will walk the old dirt paths traced by the Alpine troops during the Second World War. Roads born for the military strategy that today offer breathtaking views suspended between sky and sea.

The ghost villages of Fondachelli Fantina
We will continue towards the territory of Fondachelli Fantina, a place where time has stopped. we will explore its abandoned villages, silent witnesses of a rural past, offering aSuggestive and surreal atmosphere, perfect for unforgettable photographic sessions.
The stop is scheduled in a typical trattoria in the area, famous for the genuineness of zero kilometer products. To stay light but full of energy, we will enjoy a local appetizer and a traditional first course.

In the afternoon, the tour turns into a continuous discovery:
We will ride along the route of an old railway line, crossing an imposing Vento del Venezia bridge, an engineering masterpiece ofperiod
We will visit one of the oldest hydroelectric plants in Europe, a jewel of industrial archeology nestled in nature.
Byzantine Cuba
Before returning, we will stop in one of the best preserved Byzantine cubes in Sicily, a rare example of early Christian architecture that emanates a millenary charm.
